Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is a central university located in New Delhi. JMI is ranked 6th among the top universities in India by NIRF 2021. Jamia offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Hospitality, Technology, Management, Architecture, Education, and Polytechnic. Admission to all the courses except the B.Tech program is based on marks obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university itself. Admission to the B.Tech program is based on JEE Main exam scores. Applications for admission are accepted in online mode along with the required application fee and documents. Jamia Millia Islamia has been ranked 195 by the Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings 2021. The university is also ranked in the band of 751-800 by the QS World Ranking 2022.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) admission 2022 is open for UG, PG, and PhD courses. The last date to submit the application form is May 12, 2022. Candidates seeking admission can apply online on the official website @jmicoe.in. From this year onwards, admission to 10 UG courses will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. Candidates who are interested in applying for admission to these courses must fill the CUET 2022 application form on the official website @cuet.samarth.ac.in. Such candidates are also required to register on the JMI admission portal. CUET 2022 registrations started on April 6 and will close on May 6, 2022.

Courses offered through CUET are BA (Hons) Hindi, BA (Hons) Sanskrit, BA (Hons) French and Francophone Studies, BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies, BA (Hons) Economics, BA (Hons) History, BSc in Biotechnology, BVoc (Solar Energy), BSc (Hons) Physics and BA (Hons) Turkish Language & Literature.

Admission to remaining UG and PG courses at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is offered on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university. JMI entrance exam will be held from June 2, 2022. Candidates will be able to download the JMI admit card from May 16, 2022, onwards. Jamia is also accepting applications for PhD admission. The last date to submit the application form is April 30, 2022.
